Factor for our clients Blue Marlin Signature Catering.  With a combination of Vintage Chic & Vegas Bling we created a huge draw for not only Brides but for other Vendors as well!  This Opulent Space was well Branded with a low Tact Vinyl Logo on our LED Bar and revolving food photos on the screen behind the chef.  And yes..we even fabricated the now popular "Bling" Marlin !  A "one of a kind decor piece custom fabricated for Blue Marlin Signature Catering complete with Blue Brooch Eye, a custom Brushed Nickle and ceramic White paint job and over 3500 crystals!  Our New Satin Rosette Tabletop Valances and Opalescent Waterfall Chandelier's with Edison Lighting were a hit and have been a new hot linen request and decor request this past week for upcoming events of all types! This Delicious Table top with Vintage Mercury Glass and Modern Mercury Glass, the French Market Fluted China presented on the sparking Harlequin Bling Glass Chargers and tiny Crown Ramekins with Leaflet Spoons was a perfect setting for a delectable amuse bouche and lets not forget the Teal Cracked Glass Stemware!  So talked about was this space that our clients booth even made an appearance on ABC Columbia !!!  You can't get any better than that!!!

Nothing says WOW! Like Truss!

  We were recently asked to design two show stopper feature Cooking Stations at the Lexington County VIP Night!  The theme of the event was "Building Lexington" ...with all of the manufacturing plant growth, residential growth and downtown overhauling going on it was only fitting to provide a "Construction Concept" 
With a bit of Vegas flare, of course...reminding me of my chef days at Caesars Palace where dreamt up all sorts of ways to showcase our food in style...we decided the go big or go home approach was the best option here...and boy did we make a statement !!!!  And coupled with the fabulous chefs from Blue Marlin Signature Catering a Culinary WOW factor was born !!!!  So much so that two nights later it was still the buzz at the Chamber of Commerce Meeting !!

Once the chefs got there and added in their cooking stations - Chafers - Beautiful food displays and culinary treats it really became a much talked about and well photographed featured food station!

And even though we did not design the florals for the event the flowers placed in cinder block and displayed in Paint Cans on the tables,

A second Station was created for Desserts with Aluminum Stud Walls..."Food Blue Prints" and Paint Splattered Muslin Swag!

  All in All this was such a fun event and our fabricating team had a ball "Building Lexington"  featured cooking stations for this VIP event!  

And the Winner is???

   We are often hired to design vendor booth spaces for trade shows and bridal shows.  One of our clients asked for our help to create a refined booth space for the SCSAE Trade Show in Columbia South Carolina.  This years theme was "Plan a Winning Event!"  (Sports Inspired Theme for the booth spaces)  Our client, a well known Local Catering Company and Iconic Restaurant asked for our help in creating something that would show off their culinary skills inspired by this theme.  Naturally with the look of the restaurant and catering venue and its great involvement in Gamecocks Sports at USC we went Vintage Gamecock Sports all the way...and in the end...

                                   the winner for "Best Booth" goes to....

  Black & Garnet were naturally the colors!  We created sign graphics of large scale color food photos and combined them with recent photos of our mighty Gamecocks in celebration for their recent championship wins, but with a vintage twist, champion trophy cups, sporting equipment and a fabulous Vintage Fireplace mantel with faux flame special effects lighting created a vintage sports lounge feel and Wow'd the crowd!  Certainly "one of a kind" and earning them this coveted award at the Trade Show!  Congratulations! We were so happy we could help!

Let There Be Light!!!!

   Prior to my coming to South Carolina, lighting in events was not really a consideration.  Social media has help evolve this widely used event design and decor must have, showing that your party budget can go a long way by adding in a few up lights.  This decor feature really packs a punch and now is one of the most widely used decor items in our company.  Virtually no Wedding, Corporate Event, Fundraiser etc... kicks off without some sort of ambient light.
   Carolina Event Services offers a wide range of lighting options, from the most commonly used LED Up lighting - Break Up patterns and Gobo's....to Crowd safe Club lighting- laser lighting and Pin Spots.  These options used by themselves or in tandem with each other create ambiance, texture, visual interest and can transform any space into an opulent event.  With proper placement, lighting can even hide items of disinterest and highlight items that need featuring.
   A couple of weekends ago we had back to back events in the same space.  Our client wanted each night to look different as some of the guests would be in attendance at both dance parties.  We combined, Up lighting, Break up patterns, Crowd Safe Club Lights and Lasers to transform the space each night.  And this is what we created.....

LED Bars & Lighted Highboys

  

   Our Event Design Team at Carolina Event Services has been busy this new year with our Custom Designed Wireless LED Acrylic Bars and Wireless Lighted Highboys.   These two event elements look great in any Indoor or Outdoor Venue alone...but add them together and you have an cool Ultra Lounge! Great Job to our fabricator in the shop for creating such a versatile and sleek design for our events!

2013 What does that mean??

    For Carolina Event Services Party Design & Decor it means MANY great things to look forward to from us!  While we are currently remodeling our website and hope to be done in the next few days, we have successfully created the new logo!  And we love it!  Hope you all do to!

We will also be opening our Party Design & Decor Studio as well in the next month our so we are hoping...! And with that our DIY Diva Nite and Wedding Workshop Classes will start back up again!
