Part 4: A Year at a Glance ~ The Open House

We were invited to attend an post Bridal Show Open House at the Medallion Center at the last minute in February.  With only about 10 days to plan we arranged to present the brides and grooms ideas of the use of such items as lighting, drape, linen, chair covers and such.  Below are some of the ideas we presented.

Coral Pink Overlays, Crystal and Scattered Petals add romance
Roses of cream, pinks and reds are tightly presented paved in a vintage crystal pedestal vase

Bustled White Satin Chair Covers with Coral Pink Sashes compliment the table

This Sweetheart Table was presented with Sophistication with Dark Champagne Taffeta Pintuck, Ivory and Hints of Gold
Gold Chargers with Ivory China and Custom Ivory Napkin Rings add glamor to this simply stated tabletop

The Floral ~ Presented in a Vintage Gold dusted Rodin Vase, Cream Vendella Roses, Light Pink Sweetheart Roses, crystals and a gold trimmed Ivory taffeta bow make this tabletop complete

And lets not forget the fitted Ivory chair cover with Champagne Pintuck Sash

Our next Sweetheart Table is presented with more great uses of color and texture. Black spandex, Charcoal Crushed Taffeta and Red Pinks and Coral pops color in the floral make this a truly sassy look.

Paved Roses in a mosaic pedestal vase add a glamorous statement.

The use of the Black Spandex Chair Cover....what I call a chairs answer to " the little black dress" looks stunning when draped with this crushed taffeta sash, almost like and evening wrap

The tabletop offers black chargers, polished silver flatware and Crystal Mikasa Champagne Flutes
Guest Book Signing Table

A Miniature version of the Candy Bar Table. The Red Candies presented in various Apothecary Jars
Simple Cupcakes wrapped with ribbons and dressed with pearl sprinkles and crystal gems are a pretty centerpiece perched on rose colored glass cake pedestals.

And although the attendance of the event had a tough time competing with a much awaited sunny Sunday afternoon, we did meet Robert & Chrystal whose wedding was but a year away.  Watch this coming February for an account of their Big Day!
